Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls
Your platinum safaris guide/driver will pick you up early in the morning and drive you to Murchison falls national park on this day you will pass via Masindi and have a stop for lunch depending on the departure time, drive through the park as you will be enjoying a game drive heading to your lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
On this day you will have early morning breakfast, later proceed for a spectacular for the game drive we have to cross the Nile; special are here the lions and giraffes. Animals in the afternoon we have the remarkable launch trip on the Nile to the falls. Hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, elephants and many birds will be seen, in the evening later transfer to Paraa safari lodge for your overnight
Day 3: Drive from Murchison to Fort Portal 3 hrs 30 minutes
After breakfast at your accommodation, our experienced guide and driver will be ready to embark on your journey to Fort Portal. As we leave Murchison Falls, you will be treated to breath taking views of the park’s savannah, Nile River, and some wildlife sightings. Continuing our journey, you will start to notice the landscape change as we enter the Albertine Rift.
Day 4: Drive from Fort Portal to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, You will depart from Fort Portal, you will be surrounded by tea plantations and stunning crater lakes as you exit the city, you will encounter the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains, often shrouded in mist, which adds a surreal atmosphere to the trip and landscape. One of the highlights of this drive is the passage through Kasese Town. Upon reaching the park’s vicinity, you will be welcomed by savannah grasslands, sightings of wildlife like antelopes and elephants.
Day 5: Full day activities in Queen Elizabeth
Early Morning wake up and enjoy your hearty breakfast, and proceed to queen for your morning game drive in search of wild animals like elephants, lions, etc. have lunch and in the afternoon, you will enjoy a launch along the Kazinga channel while seeing hippos sunbathing at the banks of the channel, later in the evening proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Drive from Queen Back to Kampala
Early morning have breakfast, have some time at the lodge later As you depart from the park, the scenic drive will take you through the town of Mbarara, known as the “Land of Milk and Honey” , you will encounter the magnificent Ankle longhorn cattle milk, Ilonggo Cultural Centre, the region’s rich heritage site. Finally, the drive to Kampala will reveal the transition from the countryside to the bustling capital city.
